“Washington Irving are an indie folk act, but don’t panic because they’re still interesting. The emphasis is firmly on the indie part, and the Scottish vocal adds a good twist to the folky parts if you like the genre but are fed up of Mumford copyists.” Supajam

Washington Irving have been around the Glasgow folk-orientated block, emerging out of the same crop of talent which has produced the likes of Admiral Fallow and Three Blind Wolves.
