Washington Irving have been around the Glasgow folk-orientated block, emerging out of the same crop of talent which has produced the likes of Admiral Fallow and Three Blind Wolves.
With the five piece continuing to develop their sound, however, comparisons to the bands above are becoming more rare; the Oban and Aberdeen originated group are straying from their roots into exciting new grounds (among plenty of others, their instruments include a musical saw).
